Did you finally resolve this problem? The article not going to its correct category? I found an easier workaround for this.
The solution that works for Joomla 1.0x would be too difficult (too complex to implement) for the problem you encountered here.

Basically, images were not resizing and text wraparound was deactivated, making the category pages look rally bad.
The JA people had a roam around my server at SuperAdmin level but came up with nothing >:(
To be honest, after a week of posting updates every single day here and pleas for help, I kind of gave up … a bit like banging my head against a wall.
:((
Fortunately, Menalto PM’d me some code to place into one of the CSS files.
This didn’t solve the image resizing problem, but it did fix the textwrap. So, my current workround of the problem is all articles in the categories in my 10th Section can only have images of 100 x 100 pixels maximum.
Not brilliant, but at least I have a workaround!

I read about the Menalto solution on the images, Chris.
What I was asking: Are all your articles now going to the correct categories? If you did, how did you solve this problem? It was the original title of the thread.
I found a solution to the problem. I am interested to compare notes, if you resolved the issue of articles not going to the correct category — for the Tutorial.
Another guy here encountered a slightly different problem,, actually worse than yours, but after he provided the information I requested, we found a solution. It is different from what I implement with Joomla 1.0x but I asked him to try a different solution for his Joomla 1.5x-Teline II, and it worked. A day’s work, with no need to access his Administrator page myself. Just asking the correct questions to diagnose the symptoms so I have an idea what is going on.
In regard the Menalto workaround:
:
Can you please provide here a sample complete image specification for a full article found in your 10th Section?Copy an image markup from the html edit.
I did not want to bother you at the time because you were really frustrated, and so many suggesting so many different things. I have more than 10 sections in my installations, and did not encounter the same problem, so I wonder what is going on.
I wanted to understand what is causing the problem myself, in case I experience it, in the future.

<em>@cgc0202 66032 wrote:</em><blockquote>Are all your articles now going to the correct categories? If you did, how did you solve this problem? It was the original title of the thread.
</blockquote>Yes indeed. I actually deleted the entire Section, Category and Menu. Then I recreated them from new and, using your advice, ensured that the actual Category ID’s assisgned were correct in the Magazine menu. This solved the section problem. It was just strange that the articles were not publishing correctly!
<em>@cgc0202 66032 wrote:</em><blockquote>Can you provide here a sample complete image specification for a full article found in your 10th Section?
</blockquote>No problem!
To reiterate the problem.
Nine of my sections work fine. No matter what size the image in the article, the image is resized on the category pages:
However, in my 10th category, images are NOT resizing which makes the category pages look real ugly!
The text only wraps round the image in the case above thanks to the ‘code hack’ from Menalto. Before that, the text would start underneath the image which was even worse!
However, if I copy articles from ‘problem’ section into the ‘normal’ sections, everything works fine again!
Here is HTML from the article above which is not working
<img class="caption" src="images/stories/demo/travel/tv-13.jpg" border="0" alt="Sample image" title="Sample image" align="left" /> <p>Nullam dictum quis orci ac netus wisi ac Nullam nibh iaculis. Tincidunt Sed nascetur id Lorem semper volutpat sodales vitae quis Vestibulum.
<em>@cgc0202 66032 wrote:</em><blockquote>I did not want to bother you at the time because you were really frustrated, and so many suggesting so many different things.
</blockquote>It’s surprising really … the total lack of ‘official JA’ response and help here actually made me even more determined to figure things out and get it working myself.
No amount of shouting and complaining about (lack of) official support here makes any difference whatsoever, so in the end, I figured it’s best to stay calm and try work things out logically!!! However, when my subscription expires, I’ll not be renewing (along with many others from what I’ve seen in the Teline II section of the forum!). If JA’s business policy is to go all out gaining new clients, rather than servicing existing ones then so be it, not my problem if they want to deliberately put themselves out of business or get a bad name in the Joomla community.
Thanks to you, Menalto, Ana and others, my demo site is kind of working how I want it, even though I’ve wasted hours hacking code and finding workarounds for things that should have worked in a ‘paid for’ template anyway.
Hey Ho, that’s life I suppose 😉
