I received help from somebody else and they have fixed the problem. What happened was:
1. Some code was added into ja_rave/html/com_content/article/default.php and it was overriding the article layout, so I was getting a ‘blank page’ every time an articles was requested.
2. The issue was fixed renaming the /article to /article-.
<blockquote>I have been in the back of the site and I still see almost ALL things out dated! What has been updated?</blockquote>
I have updated all JA extensions. The other extensions I’m currently working on that.
I have a couple of questions:
1. Since this happened while I was updating the template using the JA Extension Manager, how can I prevent this from happening again in the future?
2. Why even after I restored a backup it was not displaying correctly?
3. Right now my template is not up to date. What can I do to update my template without running into this issues again?
4. What tools do recommend to have local copy of the website in my computer so I can test changes / updates before applying them to the live website?
5. My Original template has been changed several times. What can I do to keep those changes after the update? Thanks,
Luis

Are you saying this error is in the default download of the template from JA? If so, this needs to be reported a s a bug so it can be fixed. Please advise me.
Well, I am glad the issue is resolved at least then!

1. I think this depends on if the code was corrupted from original download or if it was added by an editor or if someone hand coded the wrong code in. I would need to know that info to advise on this!
2. It probably stayed the same due to cache or data base holding the error.
3. I would update the template with the extension manger. BEFORE you do, I would read the link below I have provided so you can see how to make template changes with out losing them every time you update the template.
4. Just save to a disc or your hard drive ~ BETTER yet, use FireBug to make changes and to test them before you edit actual code.
5. The best way to do template ovverrides is described here.1 user says Thank You to Blaine for this useful post
