    Hi there,

I was wondering how on earth do you set the website up as advertised?

When installing I used my host’s Joomla direct link which took a few minutes before uploading the template and installing the modules.

What I’ve found is everything is out of sync, it looks very broken.

Joomlart provide QuickStart packages. These are compete installs including joomla but in this case have all the content, menus and everything else setup as per our demos with the only exception being we include placeholder images in places due to licensing restrictions.

If that is what you are after then we have a number of guides such as this one – http://www.joomlart.com/blog/tutorials/how-to-clone-the-demo-using-quickstart-installation-a-step-by-step-guide

Or you can set everything up manually for which we provide full details in the associated forum for each template.

Hi thanks for the reply, I’ve installed it properly now.

My second question is regarding the modules on my website (http://www.discovertheraces.com)

Right I just need clarification on how I edit the 3 white collumms under the slideshow in the backend. I need these collumns to display catagories & posts!

Secondly the contact & gallery links do nothing when clicked, I assume these need redirecting to the right page but I’m not sure how?

Thirdly I’m not sure what the Navigate at the bottom is supposed to do?

Really struggling to get this syncronising together and it doesn’t help when you haven’t got the content to start off with.

Also I don’t understand how to utilise the K2 system, I mean when you login (user – test, pass- test) there is nothing for the user to actually do? how can I give them something interesting to do like a forum, maybe a blog etc

You should read the template overview article it has all the settings you need in there. K2 will require some knowledge to utilise fully so I suggest that you do some reading up on tutorials for that.
