Hi there, when i have modules published in ‘ASIDE 2’ , it seems to start in aside 1 position and slide over to the aside 2 position. How do i get rid of this movement?:confused::-[

I’m afraid I’m not quite getting what you are mentioning above. It would be great if you can include url of your site, an illustrated screenshot of what you are trying to achieve, It would help to understand the issues and give you specific answers.

Hi there, sorry for the slow response I have been working on other things. http://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/c26qVOeQf1 here is a video of the problem I am facing. The aside doesn’t just load in its position it starts in aside one then slides to aside 2. As shown this slows down the site a fair bit :eek: any idea what it could be?

I tried to check the video you mentioned several times but it’s very hard to suggest the solution for you. Because about loading speed of your site may be due to many issues ranging from bandwidth, server, cache, image… etc

You can follow my solution in the thread here

The movement is coming from the jquery masonry script used to create the page.
It first loads the content then adjusts to the portal size. It is what it is. All part of Responsive Design.
Think for a second in reverse – if everything appeared full size, then was shrunk and set to fit. Much uglier movement.

    Hope that helps.
