Hello all,
i have been asking for help for the past 3 weeks but no one with joomlart answered me. i have sent many staffers private mails but no answers from them too (including the admin). what is the purpose of this forum if even the admins don’t answer you? i hope one of the staffers answer me or the persons i sent the private emails (the admins).
1) when i click on an article on my site (sunuafrik.com), it displays the other frontpage articles on top of the article. i like to know to to just display the article alone (with the modules)??
2) the other sections and categories fonts are messed up when you click on an article. how do i fix it?i have attached the screenshots of the errors here. NEEDDDDD HELLLPPPPPPP!!!!!

October 18, 2010 at 7:43 pm #359442I for one do not anser PM’s unless I have asked a user to PM me. Sorry, but that is just how I work. I believe on keeping everything as public as possible so in working on your problem others may find the answer useful.
I do not know the Teline III template very well so I cannot help you in this instance. I suggest you raise a premium support ticket using the button at the bottom of your post “The little man throwing balls in the air”. Please make sure you include as much information as possible. From what you have written I am not sure what you are asking and it might be even harder for the developers (mainly non native English speakers) to fully understand your problems if you do not give enough detail.
In your ticket include a link to your site plus in possible an admin logon. Full details of your problems including links to affected articles and categories. That way we can probably help you very quickly.

i do understand what you are sayin Phil but the only reason i sent pm to the experts is that i didn’t get any response from the staff in the forum for the past 3 weeks at least. it was my last resort. anyway i did what you told me, upgraded to the premium support. hopefully my issues will be resolved. thanks

October 19, 2010 at 7:34 am #359491i’m sorry for delay:(.
The Article’s Introtext is much more complicated than ja demo and joomla demo are as the Form, and bold text….are displayed on most of aritcles on the front page. So i recommend you should create the introtext in only plain, no bold , no paragraph…, your site will reduce bugs happening.
now please try below solutions
you open the file: modulesmod_janews2helper.php, modulesmod_janews_fphelper.php and find the following code:
$row->introtext1 = $row->introtext;
replace:
$row->introtext = strip_tags($row->introtext);
October 20, 2010 at 4:18 am #359627<em>@tienhc 199155 wrote:</em><blockquote>i’m sorry for delay:(.

thanks for your reply but your solutions didn’t solve my issues. when i replace the code in mod_janews_fp, it messes up the whole font of the site (worst than what it was before actually) . i have again attached the errors i get for you to look at. any other help will be greatly appreciated. thanks.-

Are you aware that Teline III V2 has just been released. Maybe upgrade to that and then tienhc can help you with your article problems</blockquote>

October 22, 2010 at 8:36 am #360034Teline III v2 and Teline III v1 are two different templates which have the same design. Therefore, you cannot copy to override it. However, you can switch to use new template by installing it as other template and make it as default template in your administrator.
To use the new Teline III v2 on your current site, you should do like this:
1. Install template Teline III v2
2. Install plugin T3v2 Framework
3. Disable plugin jamenuparams if it exists (the extended parameters for menu are embedded in T3v2 plugin)
4. Goto Template Manager and make the Teline III v2 as default templateNext step, you can update some extensions (eg jatabs, janews,…), then apply your changes/override in your current template to new one.
2 users say Thank You to Khanh Le for this useful post
