Firstly, thanks so much for Joomlart, such an amazing place, seems that I have been lost in the world of CMS for so long, but glad to be here.

So here I am, frustrated, determined, inspired, and moving forward with full steam!

I need someones help. Otherwise I am going to go mad, is it me is Joomla a lot more complex than, lets say, wordpress?

I dunno and I dont care, all I know is that my intuitive mind is telling me if Joomla is good for gov websites, its good for my website…lol

I am starting what I consider, a huge project, I have started to purchase loads of cool domains for this exciting new venture and am hoping that it will illuminate the hearts of many.

I have been trying frantically to get to grips with the free demos available here, but have been faced with so many PHP errors, that I discovered a grey hair this morning, thats right, in just over one night one of my hairs turned grey. I am worried that my hair will begin to receed and hence I need someones help.

OK, so I have found the purity download and feel that with some customisation, I could get it to operate like this http://www.ocr.org.uk/

I want a fixed width on the header at 1000.

I need a fixed menu along the top, no sub menus needed.

I also like the left menu on this site, this would be ideal for my project.

If you go a little deeper into this site, you will also see the pdf download options, this is a must.

HELLO! Are you still listening, or is this boring as hell? Well, let me tell you more about my secret little project…

I am starting a brand new library, this library will consist of all freely available books, guides, tutorials videos all related to my niche.

Thats right! Everything will be for free! Amazing I know, but Im cool guy.

I will pay anybody to help me set this website up, it really doesnt require much, I will be helping as well, so I can learn, obviously I would not touch anything but will help as much as I can.

So is anybody interested, so far, I have one other team member working for me, she is a lovely copywriter who works for the BBC, now we just need to find a decent, reliable, honest and hardworking web developer.

I believe I could do this, however my patience levels are like a child, I have been learning so much about wordpress and feel frustrated by its limitations. Joomla is very different and I dont come from a academic background, I just learn as I go along, however I need this website up as soon as possible.

Does anyone know if there is any modules out there that allow you to easily change the colour themes and more with Joomla, I hate the fact I have to edit CSS code to change the colours of menus and etc, I have a few modules like this for wordpress, and it really helps.

If only the matrix was real and I had a USB port, I could just upload the “Im a Web Developer Rom” onto my braindrive and away I go, I really envy all of you who understand this crazy alien language!

Hi, and thank you for your interest.

Yes Sir! This is an idea/project…actually no, its my dream, I really want to see it manifest, but I know I will not be able to do this on my own.

I am not looking for a robotic developer whos main concern is squeezing as much money out of me as they possibly can, I am looking for someone who is as passionate as I am in changing the way people think! about themselves, their finances, and their beliefs. I just want to inspire people to make a difference and help others understand the true source of self.

I really love what Joomlart have done and am very thankful for the free stuff available, it really does open the doors to anyone willing to succeed.

I work 50 hours a week and dont earn much, but the rest of my spare time I am just working on this site.

I have been going back and forth from wordpress to joomla 1.5 from 1.5 to 1.6.

But Im dumbstruck, do I continue using wordpress or is Joomla a safer option, I do love the feel of Joomla, but my lack of development skills is my biggest concern.

I really need some help setting this site up, and will set the site up to the best of my ability, so that someone can finish it off for me.

Simple things like the header and body, I just want it in a width of 1000 and inside a box rather than accross the screen.

There are a few other options, but your help would be greatly admired.
