Hi,

Can anyone please suggest a extension to showcase Author’s profile. I would like to display Author’s Photo and brief profile about him and then clicking it should display the complete profile and the list of articles (if any) that he has written. It should be connected to the Registered Users so that they can update their profile.

I think you should check the JED at http://extensions.joomla.org to see all the available ones, where you can get a clear overview about each extensions’ pros and cons.

out of those 13 extensions listed there, this one seems promising http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/authoring/authors/3795/details.

Haven’t used any of them yet. May be once you are done with your experiments, you can guide us regarding the best of all.

Thanks, I have tried the ones at the extensions site, I the tried the one below but it just shows data when someone is reading a article.
I want to show all the writers on a page and clicking it should bring the data..

When you need a custom solution, a good freelancer can code any of those ones to your wishes or creates a complete new one based on the requirements you have. You can ask for quotes and feedback on http://www.joomlancers.com for example. Otherwise, what isn’t available in the JED or on some other sites of companies that are not listed there, you probably won’t get for free.
