How/where can I modify the teline II to get auto refresh of the frontpage. I update my site very frequently so I think that will be nice as seen at facebook

What is the problem you are trying to solve? Is it that your articles are not appearing quickly enough in Facebook through your RSS feed? If this is so, you need to change the cacheing time on your Syndication module. There may also be a cacheing parameter at the Facebook end…but I’m not familiar.

Just want to know if the frontpage can refresh on it’s own within a timed interval similar to facebook(you don’t have to refresh to see updates) or yahoo mail

The Cache settings for your site are located in the Administrative area under:

SITE > GLOBAL CONFIGURATION > SYSTEM > CACHE SETTINGS

This is usually turned off by default, however. If you aren’t noticing changes right away, it is more likely your browser’s cache that is the culprit.

I think what he wants is to have an automatic popup display a tab at the top of the page saying (example) 1 new update – or the like, every time he updates the site while you are on it you will then see the update at the top..

I.e. the site itself automatically updates each time a new post comes in from the author..

I’m not sure if i’m correct is that it..
