1. This is a great template

2. I purchased JoomlaMagazine and I haven’t used it because of the complexity in setting it up.
This template accommodates some of those things that JoomlaMagazine does

3. Would be willing to pay more if you released 4 templates like this a month :).

4. Still looking for a template/s that look like this for restaurants, condo openings and bars.
http://www.laspiga.com/ – have some modules on the bottom and some upper nav with the ability to place a large image in the back
http://www.vesselseattle.com/ – also like this minus the Flash.

Hello Part 3 first to me they are doing a great job look at rockethem they release 1 a month.
And been using rockettheme for a long time however keep my subscription here even though they were not as good as rocket.Until they prove me wrong with the release of JA Teline and that is the one I am using now on both of my main news site.
If you bough the ijoomla news component you know how terible there release since version 12 been out adding plus 400 sql query making your front page slow.
Would I pay more for 4 template a month no as the one I have is great,just whish they came out with a newer version.

How do you plan to integrate magazine with it be interesting to see your site before and after with magazine install.
But I would pay extra for exclusive template or semi exclusive like 25 release max.

I think most developers out there that are professionals, (that is, it’s their sole job running a thriving web design company,) would definitely agree on 4 templates a month!

But if like me you’re a hobbyist developer with mainly low priced (some even free?) sites for your church, Sunday school etc 2 per mth is enough

If you are willing to pay more for what you want, and need to have template based sites like those you mention, why haven’t you contacted JA or joomlancers and said “hey make a clone of this, with what I say?”

Sitting back and waiting, waiting, hinting the next template should be this, that etc till the RIGHT template comes up is a bit counterproductive, if your business has clients that need it now and are willing to pay? ( Which I gather is your case, YOU have clients waiting for the restaurants, condo etc type sites)

Just asking questions I guess, not being negative

Thanks for your feedback. RIght now I am trying to start a business or convert little one-offs into a true design shop. The opportunity Joomla has for businesses, as you know, is quite robust. Much more ronbust than High End agency offerings. So as I build the business, and I am not a designer, I just need more templates to present clients as concepts. I think once I establish some clients I can absolutely charge for custom design and then use joomlancers. One issue is that since Joomlart is setting the bar so high I just salivate to see new designs.

If you have websites out there for restaurants etc, all you got ot do is focus on images which can be bought from any great stock photo libraries. These are templates and although the recent one is geared towards interior design, then the layout will suffice for many more applications such as hosting, restaurants, personal etc. All you have to do is think about the imaging replace the current ones, edit the stylesheet and you have a brand new template in the same layout.

The templates here are way above comparison. I used 3 templates from the other club, but will now use the templates here, its the clean look that really made quite a difference! This Rochea template is a blast!

I agree 10x over. It really bugs me when template club members ask for template themese that maybe 3 people are going to use when they could just get an existing template and modify it. If you wanted something more custom go to joomlancers.com and for around $100 get a completely unique template built exclusively for you.

not citing your post, actually maybe a food themed template might be in order for the future. so this is not on attack on you really 😀 just a venting rant i have had for while!!!
