    Hi all,

This is a very old site so forgive the lack of content and uniqueness, however the front isn’t my concern.

When I go the back of my site http://www.smartjams.co.uk/administrator

You’ll notice, it looks nothing like what it should look like. It’s same after you log in.

I made a few edits to
    cpanel.php
    index.php
    login.php
however that remove the Copyright notice from the back end and changed the information on the login.php page to change from “Joomla! Login” to “SmartJams Login” as well.

I have done the same thing to all my sites, and nothing has happened to them, I performed the same edits and same actions.

    Any idea whats up?

(And I know this isn’t TECHNICALLY a JoomlArt issue – but I thought I’d ask anyway!)

    Thanks

It looks like a permissions issue. When I tried to check the stylesheet I got:

    403 Forbidden
You don’t have permission to access
    /administrator/templates/khepri/css/login.css
    /administrator/templates/khepri/css/rounded.css
    /administrator/templates/system/css/system.css
    on this server.

    Hope this helps,

    Cheers,

    J.

    Many thanks mate.
I’ve set group and public options to read and execute (write is turned off)
    It now works!
I haven’t really come across chmod issues or permission issues in the past.
Is there anything else I need to know? (a link to a forum or site will suffice!)
    Thanks
