November 20, 2013 at 2:17 pm #192413Have 2 issues right now.
1. I would like to know how I can have more space between the mainnav and slideshow? It does look better on the demosite but perhaps this is because some enhancements were done on the images used to make it blend?? Not sure.
2. When I try to replace the body-bg.jpg, the background repeats. I also attach a screenshot.
Advices will be very helpful. Many thanks

November 20, 2013 at 6:05 pm #512899Thanks Pavit.
What about changing the background image body-bg.jpg?
I had to change it back to what it was because I couldn’t make it look good.
What should I not do/or do to avoid the repeat effect?Thank you

November 20, 2013 at 10:13 pm #512919Hi – I don’t know if you noticed, but I did include an image (2nd pic) of it on my first post.
My question is, why does the body-bg.jpg repeats when the only thing I did was replaced it with another image?pavit Moderatorpavit

November 21, 2013 at 7:00 am #512941Hi
Actually on your website you have as background the original Ja hawkstore image that have as dimensions 510px x 298px
You can change it with a new image with same name and dimensions in templatesja_hawkstoreimages body-bg.jpgninshen Developerninshen

November 21, 2013 at 8:19 am #512951That is what I did Pavit, I changed the background, using image with exactly the same dimentions the template came with. But if you look at my 2nd attachmetn, the background came on patches. This is my problem.

November 21, 2013 at 12:23 pm #513003Hi ninshen,
You can remove the repeating background image by editing the custom.css file or the template.css file (under each template color folder)
Find the line (in template.css). It should be about line 233
body {
background-color: #fff
background-image: url("../images/body-bg.jpg");
add the line below background-image: url(“../images/body-bg.jpg”);
background-repeat: no-repeat;
or you can add (if you are not using any specific color scheme) the line in custom.css I think.
All the best,
Calavaro
