Hej
Is there any way to modify background-image in Purity III (fresh install +K2) to
1) masthead
2) footer
3) particular article items (K2) ?Im using custom.css but with no avail. Nothing works (but background-color works fine)
I tried modifying classes like t3-footer/wrapper, container, body and many, many others combinations.I also read articles on:
http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/can-i-use-a-texture-for-purity-iii-template-background/http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?p=2151467
Others programs like HD BACKGROUND SELECTOR doesnt work either.
Its really annoying. On my other tempate (after burner) its quite easy..on T3…terrible.
Can You help me ?
ps. my page exist only on my localhost at the moment so i cant give you a link.

Perhaps a screenshot mockup of what it is you are wanting?
Also, please provide the url of the site you’re working on
March 6, 2015 at 3:41 pm #561925Thanks TomC for reply, but Im afraid You didnt read my post carefully. As I said I cant give Y a url. – the site is only on my localhost.
Sorry for my weak eglish, but i had hoped that my questions was clear.
If You are not familiar with this template – Purity III i will try help you out with link below.1) How to add background-image to masthead ?
Please go to : http://www.joomlart.com/demo/#purity_iii
Front page is with big blue title ” Hello Im purity III” – that’s my point. This is what they call masthead. Im able to change background color to this (from blue to any other) but adding background-image class just doesnt work . I’m using custom.css file.
I also read your solution on :http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/can-i-use-a-texture-for-purity-iii-template-background/
Doesnt work at all.2) The same case is with footer. I’d like to just add background-image to this. (Footer visible on all pages) Nothing works. This is very boottom where y can see: Copyright © 2015 Joomla!. All Rights Reserved. Designed by JoomlArt.com. etc.
3) I also would like to add background-image to the particular article. There is always white color. Of course You can change background color in magic -theme configuration panel within purity template (or custom.css and it works). But there is no option to add IMAGE background (for all pages, or for just particular article ) I dont know how to do that. This image background should span on entire page width not only main (article) component.
Reasuming : a ) how to add background-image to all pages (sidebar a+sidebarb+main component( image full screen width))
b) how to add background-image only to one or two my choosen articles (image on full screen width))I hope its now more clear ?
I need Your Help with that, beacuse its drives me crazy. :/Adam M ModeratorAdam M

March 9, 2015 at 2:38 pm #562238Hi @nowa_mat,
For basic customization, we do provide a documentation here and you can use Theme Magic or learn to use Firebug.
I’m afraid that if you’re not familiar with this task, you must have a valid subscription in order to get any further assistance in such technical matter.
