April 9, 2015 at 6:25 am #205406How does one replicate the checkered background lain the events page? (*see attached image)
Is there a source file available?
If not, how does one create a similar version of layer using Macromedia Fireworks?

April 10, 2015 at 7:01 am #566553You can find and see it here templates/ja_teline_v/css/event.css file with
.layout-events body {
background: url(../images/ev-bg.jpg) no-repeat fixed center top #0077bb ;
background-size: 100% ;
}Image path: templates/ja_teline_v/images/ev-bg.jpg
and change to
.layout-events body {
background: url(../images/ev-bg.jpg) repeat center top #0077bb ;
background-size: 100% ;

April 10, 2015 at 11:49 pm #566628Hi Ninja,
Thanks for helping, but your suggestion didn’t work, and I’m unsure how it might. How would the code “repeat” accomplish a similar mini-checkered layer above one large image?As one can see by zooming-in the demo or previously attached image, the shading is caused by a checkered layout the size of pixels.
I’m not trying to repeat the background image, just to create a similar layer to darken it lightly. I’m hoping there’s a source-file Joomlart can provide, or instructions on how to create such a layer or shading effect.

April 14, 2015 at 9:47 am #566895Hi Ninja,
My site has yet to be uploaded. I can try to do so ahead of time, but I’m reaching my host account’s capacity and have yet to figure out best solution.It may not be necessary to resolve this issue, however.
As you can see in the demo-site, the background image already has the mini-pixeled, semi-transparent checkered-layer on it, leaving me to believe that this layer has not been created by coding; but rather instead, likely photo-editing software.
Wouldn’t the source file for this image include such a layer? If not, any suggestions on how best to replicate it?
