Hi there!
I am trying to figure out why the background image doesnt show up when smartphones load the website up.
the site is here:
http://www.loudguitars.com/enter/
I used the following tutorial:
http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/add-background-to-template/
to add css code to the template.css, and a background image to the website, and it works fine on all browsers, however, on smartphones, the background image doesnt show, just a plain white background with the elements on top of it. Can anyone help, and suggest an adjustment/fix?
Oh, and heres the code I use:body#bd {
background: url(“../images/background.jpg”) scroll 0 0 transparent;
background-repeat:no-repeat;
background-attachment:fixed;
background-position:center top;
color: white;
}I understand its the ‘white’ of this section thats showing on smartphones, but wheres the background image? Should I use a full link to the image? Any help would be appreciated, thanks:)

July 17, 2011 at 1:08 pm #401528thanks, but joomla cache and background cache have been cleared many times since the site was made…any other suggestions? The problem is not about displaying it in regular browsers, its a problem about displaying it on smartphones, as it appears on all other regular browsers. Any other ideas? ANy suggestions are appreciated. Thanks for the response so far
