July 8, 2010 at 8:05 pm #349353How’s that done?
Does that mean the bottom white highlights will be removed? 🙁Manos ModeratorManos

July 8, 2010 at 8:06 pm #349354you just have to find the template.css and remove the line where the botom image is loaded.
Yes it will be removed (the baground image of the bottom)

July 8, 2010 at 8:18 pm #349357Hi pascm,
Could you tell me what line?I’ll try to see if this will look good, but I’m dissapointed by the sacrifice as I like the template with both top and bottom highlights (without the background size defect). What’s this about putting 97% as Shannon suggested (look at previous replies)? I tried, but it didn’t work. Should it have?
I’m surprised this type of problem can’t be resolved properly. 🙁
Thanks again for your help.

July 8, 2010 at 9:27 pm #349364Find in /templates/ja_corona/css/colors/default.css and in line 25 find this code
background: url(../../images/body-bot.jpg) no-repeat bottom #164978;
and modify to this
background: /* url(../../images/body-bot.jpg) no-repeat bottom */ #164978;
So you will remove the img without altering the background color.

July 11, 2010 at 10:09 pm #349600Hi Pascm,
Thanks for following-up, I was indeed able to remove the bottom image.I’m still curious to know if it’s at all possible to keep the bottom image, and have it expand in a proper manner.
Is still problem exclusive to the Corona template, or should I be cautious of any Joomlart template with a similar structure?Could this be properly fixed if I was to hire a programmer? Or is there no way to fix this properly (w/ the bottom image)?
Thanks again.

July 13, 2010 at 8:03 pm #349811Thanks pascm.
I took a thorough look at some of the links, but the solution is beyond my technical capacity. I appreciate your help nonetheless.Since I imagine this thread will lose momentum soon, I’ll simply say this:
1) I can’t understand why this is being left-up to a client to resolve.
2) Better yet, I can’t understand why Joomlart didn’t create a “sticky bottom” from the beginning. What’s the benefit of having a template that doesn’t fit the screen?

July 13, 2010 at 11:05 pm #349822I think that if you follow this link http://www.skeletorscorpse.com/joomla/content/view/142/34/ you will manage to create a sticky footer.
P.S. All the templates are without a sticky footer and that’s because it is uncommon to have such a small page.

July 20, 2010 at 9:29 pm #350353Thanks again pascm,
I took at the link, and it’s just too complicated to fix this myself. Unfortunately, I’ll have to hire someone to fix this, or I’ll simply have to choose another template. 🙁As for a sticky footer, although I agree that most pages have more content, it’s very common that “login” pages, or “contact”, or even “restricted pages” have limited content. For those reasons alone, it would be great if Joomlart created templates the the sticky-footer already in them.

without really reading every post here etc, has anyone suggested on all those pages with very little content, in your article inserting a transparent .gif around 600 px high to force the page length, while it will leave a huge amt of white space it will hold the container to a normal page length, experimenting with the minimum page length needed to make the footer etc appear as normal – this may be less complex and save hiring someone
Just my input
