    In a article I start with some text and then I make a tabel of 3 rows. In each row I put a picture. Display the article is OK but when I display the same article on the frontpage there a bad look. See attachment.

    How to solve this problem, please?

    Hi,

    I can only guess that there must be a js conflict that prevents any thumbnail plugin to run as it should! A link to your site might have helped us to provide you with a more helpful answer!

    Yasou Manos,

    Here is the sitelink. Look at the last article on the frontpage.

    :(( There’s is problem with the code.
    In other articles, when the width of the picture is to big, the text will also mixed with the picture but… only on the frontpage.

    I hope there is a solution.

    Hi,

    Can you tell me if you are using a plugin to auto resize the picture on the frontpage ?

    Also from what i can see in your article you don’t use standar html tags for “read more” or new page line <p> </p>

    Please try to disable those plugins like this one -> Artikelen – Nieuwe pagina and correct the html tags on your article and check if this helps.

    Regards

    OK, I will try.

    Another problem on the frontpage is setting a JA-tooltip. On the frontpage the tooltip wil not work. It shows the title instead of the content. Display the article normally (click the articlelink)the tooltip works fine.

    No, I don’t use a auto-resize plugin.

    I’ve tried many, many things… to disabled, set, etc. Nothing works. Also tried several setting on/off in the editor JCE… :((

    What you can see is that on all articles on te frontpage the picture is on the left. Normally the text wraps around the picture but not now. I have 3 other sites (NOT with JA Social but JA Purity) and there I have no problems.

    What to do more?

    Hi,

    There is probably some kind of 3rd party plugin that affects that. I have tried to reproduce this problem on my localhost but i didn’t manage to do that.

    Hi,

    There must be a problem with the template JA-Social. I’ve installed anaother template JA-Events and voila…. no problem. All the frontpagearticles show fine! But I like JA Social…..

    After I made a ticket the solution below was sent. Hopefully more of you can use it.

    please go to templates/ja_social/css/template.css
    around line 318 change
    .fp-article-content {
    padding-left: 145px;
    }

    to

    .fp-article-content {

    }

    Or any other appropiate value.
    if you want the padding you will need to add a another .css entry for images
    http://www.devlounge.net/design/aligning-images-the-right-way-using-css will point you in the right direction.

    FIrebug is a great benefit in trouble shooting. Please read our excellent guide http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/using-firebug-to-customize-your-site/ to understand how to do this.
