Does any one know what the prefix bak_ is? It is in with my Teline ll database files in MySql database. See attached screenshot. It might be files from a wordpress install my Hosting service may done and left it in there and forgot to remove it. They where testing out my slow site and my joomla install would sometimes failed to connect to the database.

Just curious if it’s part of teline ll then I’ll back those up as well. 🙂

when you installed joomla, or the quickstart, you checked backup existing tables

Thanks for a quick reply MJ! Would it be safe to say I can delete those files before backing up my site?

hmmmm, I never delete anything from the db unless i’m sure, and without seeing the rest of your db, i cannot make that determination, what ever you decide to do, make sure you backup you db first so if it crashes, you can restore it.
