I am trying to activate the banner module position, enabled and placed banner in it but it is not showing, does anyone know if something needs to be done so that the banner module position shows?

Make sure the module is set to the position you want it to appear in. Also, check what pages you have told the banner to appear on via the ‘Menu Assignment’, again this is found in the Module itself.

I had already verified all of that without any luck, the only way to get it to show was to place it in the ja-news position.

Also, when the banner position is published it shows the module positions on the website… kind of hard to explain, please see attached picture, when i un-publish the banner position it goes back to normal…
