Hallo.

Ja purity II is the best free template that I know !

An issue : I see that there is “banner” position on templatedetails.xml, but I don’t see it on index.php.

Is it available?
Where can I find it ?

I think you have to assign banner position in layout you are choose. For example open default.php (ja_purity_ii/layouts/)

and edit

<blockquote>$positions = array (
‘left1′ =>’left’,
‘left2’ =>”,
‘left-mass-top’ =>”,
‘left-mass-bottom’ =>”,
‘right1′ =>’right’,
‘right2′ =>’right1’,
‘right-mass-top’ =>”,
‘right-mass-bottom’ =>”,
‘content-mass-top’ =>”,
‘content-mass-bottom’ =>”,
‘content-top’ =>’banner’,
‘content-bottom’ =>”,
‘inset1′ =>’inset1’,
‘inset2’ =>’inset2′</blockquote>

or put the banner wherewer you want.

It works for me.

The positions can be block positions or module positions.

I’m not quite sure what modifications you have done upon your installation, would need to take a closer look at your site. Please include screenshot and your site URL here for further investigation.

I’m also having similar problem … with Joomla 2.5 and JA Purity II there doesn’t appear to be a ‘layouts’ folder. So where is the file with the ‘array’ code?

Please try to download JA Purity II directly to the link and about make new position on JA Template you need to read on this docs here and all position support on main content JA Template
