To which banner position are you referring? The main slideshow?

there is a position named banner (ja university) when choosing where to place the module

I’m looking at the position layout for JA University, and I am not seeing a “banner” position –> http://joomla25-templates.joomlart.com/ja_university/?tp=1

Perhaps it’s there, but not “activated” within the templatedetails.xml file ??

Where, within your site, are you trying to assign this banner – and what kind of content is it?
