    Hello i’ve got 3 questions,
    1. Is it possible to add banner as shown on atachment (q1.jpg), just below yellow box in category page?
    2. Can i add banner below article as shown in attachment (q2.jpg) without putting custom html text bellow every article?
    3. As and example i’ll put featured news module on top of category (q3p1.jpg). Now when i open article inside this category that same module still stay on top (q3p2.jpg). I would like that module disappear on article page and only show on category page.

anywhere there is a module things can be turned on / off @ will. You can show only certain items on certain pages the same way.
I would advise you to read up on how joomla works so that you better understand it.
To see which template posistions there are please add index.php?tp=1 to your domain. so if its http://www.myhouse.com then it would be http://www.myhouse.com/index.php?tp=1
while this is enabled automatically in 1.5 you must turn it on manually in .1.7 via the ‘template options”. I was unable to see the module position guide in our demo but rest assured you can easily find them by using tp=1.

Banners can be placed in any module position by putting the “banner” module in the position you want it. Like postion-7.
you can also decide which pages will get that banner if you choose too.
the information listed in my signature will be of great benefit to you.

yeah, it can get a bit confusing…
if you look @ my image you see the highlighted area. This is your “content’, your articles.
above that you have “content-top” and below “content-bot” So the item you wanted above your banner would go in either the USER positions OR in content-top and then your banner either in the same position but below that, or in content-bottom.

this is the importance of choosing a template. So that you get the right layout for your needs.
You can also add positions to templates if your handy with html
