I want to use some sort of a banner manager where I can allow my clients to access to view stats. I do not think the default system would allow for this and am wondering if anyone can recommend something that works well. I was thinking of OpenX but since I am new to Joomla for now, I would love to hear what others use and would recommend.

The Banner component allows you manage banners follow your clients and does not allow your client access the system to manage theirs banners.

On JED You try to find a extension which can work as you expected. Alternatively, please take into consideration to post your requirements on Joomlancers.com to find a talent freelancer for your project.
