Hello all, I’m really happy with my Teline II installation so far. The one problem I can’t seem to get rid of is that my site banner “tears” in IE. Weird horizontal lines show up on the banner itself. This problem is absent in firefox. The banner was made in photoshop elements and saved as a png. I’m running joomla 1.5.6. Any help on this would be really appreciated. Thanks.

September 9, 2008 at 6:46 am #269641This can be beacouse of the site tools or search and contact module., a width needs to be set on the ja-headtools div, but before we can say for sure, post your live site.
September 9, 2008 at 1:27 pm #269750Thanks for the replies so far. My site is http://www.stillmanexchange.com. Again, the problem only appears in IE. I’ll be sure to try out your solution, Menalto.

September 9, 2008 at 4:09 pm #269768#ja-headtools {
border:1px solid #FFFFFF;
display:inline;
position:absolute;
right:0;
top:30px;
}
There you can try to add : width: 200px;
remember, you might need to play around with the width to make it work ok.1 user says Thank You to Menalto for this useful post
September 9, 2008 at 7:16 pm #269805The width modification helped a lot. Thanks so much!

September 9, 2008 at 7:54 pm #269812Great, i think this can be looked closer at from the developers and can be classified as a “bug” in the template. You are not the first one with this problem.
I report this post in and if they think its a bug they will fix this in next release.AuthorPostsViewing 7 posts - 1 through 7 (of 7 total)This topic contains 7 replies, has 3 voices, and was last updated by Menalto 16 years, 2 months ago.
