September 20, 2009 at 6:36 pm #144416I can not seem to find out how to set the default color of TelineIII so that the pages are red, like the WORLD page is on the demo.
I also can not find out where the menu suffix documentation is. I want to create a submenu for the left column that is collapsible. I am having trouble finding some of the real basic info on this system.
Thank you,

September 20, 2009 at 10:13 pm #317932Hi Jesse, welcome to JoomlArt.
<blockquote>I can not seem to find out how to set the default color of TelineIII so that the pages are red, like the WORLD page is on the demo.</blockquote> You want all pages red? To set the colours of sections open the Ja News module in the menu manager. There’s instructions on this in the User Guide
<blockquote>I also can not find out where the menu suffix documentation is. </blockquote>There isn’t any. But I did post some info on Teline 3 suffix here.
<blockquote>I want to create a submenu for the left column that is collapsible.</blockquote> Collapsible how? Not sure what you mean. The left position is collapsible. Remember to add ‘_menu‘ as the suffix to any menu modules you create. This goes for all JA templates.

Look at the Categories menu on the left of that page. Click on ARCHIVES. See how the menu opens up.Is this possible with your system? Or similar function re: submenu?

I don’t want to use the JA News Module or at least I don’t want to use it to display anything. Even so I don’t see how to set the HOME page to red, or to anything, only the sections defined in the Section menu.

Open your template.css file and on line 35ish find…
/* Normal links ---*/
a {
color: #145077;
text-decoration: none;
}a:hover, a:active, a:focus {
color: #145077;
text-decoration: underline;
}change the 145077 to FF0000, that will give a red theme. More info on changing a colour theme here.

September 20, 2009 at 11:50 pm #317941On the demo page, when you click on the WORLD News menu the page theme changes to red. This is what I want for ALL the pages. I still have no idea how to do this. I see how to change the sections in JA News…but that is not my problem.
Simple question…I believe.
Any idea?jester11218 Friendjester11218

Sorry,
I did not see your post on this. Also thank you for the lead on the accordion menus. I’ll check them out.
Peace,
