Hello,
First, I want to have my articles scroll like the ones in the attached. First red arrow to the left.
Second, what is the criterion for articles appearing in the second arrow area? Is is a Latest articles zone?
We have about 10 articles and I want to fill that area with articles.

Hi

The articles that you see in that way on the demo page are articles marked as featured and showed in the home with the

JA News Featured module

That module is published in the sl1-l position of the template and shows the articles featured published in a specific category

So to obtain the same on your site you need to edit that module and in the configuration section you need to assign it the category where you have your articles published

Anyway you can read this guide to check all settings for that module

Yes

You have to manage the display settings in the module for change configurations
