Because there is K2?
It’s free and Joomlart has always used and we.
Try new extensions is fine, but you can not stop using free extensions like K2

K2 is a powerful extension in joomla .And most of the user want it to use in the templates .
JA Using K2 not because its free. because of user demands .
We Always looks for the news extension and updating them time to time .
Its not necessary to use K2 its up to you . 🙂
