At first glance, upgrading to JShopping 3.5 seems to cause no template problems or css hickups for me on the new Tiris J2.5.

I’ve tried VM2, Hika etc. All have problems and quirks.

With JS; it’s just that I know it. Kind of like an abusive girlfriend.
