<?php echo $this->item->event->beforeDisplayContent; ?> results in a 1 showing up in div calss=”article-tools”

Any reason why this is happening and how do I get the “1” to go away

solution:

…/templates/ja_teline_iv/html/com_content/article/default.php

<?php echo $this->item->event->beforeDisplayContent; ?>

results in a “1” showing up in the article tools area

removing echo, gets rid of the “1”

note: i do not have the programming experience to tell if removing echo will have any unintended effects…
