There is a noticeable lag time between visiting my URL and finishing loading the homepage. I’m trying to find the best (ie least troublesome) method of caching the page. I already have the JAT3 cache on, development mode off. In admin, you can turn the cache on and/or gzip. Which combination of these has the best results for you?

There would be many problems that could speed down the load time of your site.
