I have the JA_social template and can´t see nothing of my website in IE7 and IE8 I don’t know how edit the index.php, where is it? I know that ja_social is done with the T3 framework, and there is no index.php on its own, but I need compatibility with IE and you can add the code that you commented before



Joomlart am very disappointed about the compatibility with IE >:(

JA Social is working fine for me in IE8/7. Please provide a link to your site and we can take a look.

http://www.escuelapremilitardechile.cl in Firefox, Safari and Chrome is fully functional also tried to change the optimization of CSS and JS to join & compress & minify but I have no change

Ahh, that is an easy one to fix and is not a fault with the template but the fact you have cut and pasted an article in from word. Any cms will fail if you do not do that properly. I can clearly see if from the code in your page below

Look at whatever article has the words <blockquote>REQUISITOS DE POSTULACIÓN:</blockquote> in it and that is your culprit.

This is a very common problem, so much so that most editors such as TinyMCE, JCE, FCK etc have a paste from word button included in them Unfortunately the one in the deafult Joomla editor (TinyMCE) is not enabled by default. Simply go to the plugins manager, open the Editor – TinyMCE plugin and switch from Advanced to Extended. You will then have a little clipboard with a “W” sign on it that you should use to import word documents.

FF, Chrome etc ignore the code left behind by word, IE7/8 do not.

I will close this thread now as it was intended for IE8 problems with the JA site and not individual template. Over the three pages it has wandered very off topic.
