    Hello,
    after updating to Joomla 1.5.10 some parts of my site don’t work in IE, Safari, Chrome and Opera any longer. But in Firefox everything works fine.
    Please view my site with different browsers here to see what I mean: http://www.meinmuldental.de/

    I think the problem is the mod_janews2-module.

    Any idea someone?

    Best regards
    Thomas

    Try disabling the new plugin that joomla 1.5.20 brings about upgrating motools

    That was my first idea too, but deactivating the plugin changes nothing.

    There is a sript which alerts a arrror at
    document.write( ‘<a ‘ + path + ”’ + prefix + addy33975 + suffix + ”’ + attribs + ‘> missing closing ‘
    </a>
    </script>

    It seems to be JA News. If you disable JA News – what would be the result?

    01.jpg shows the site as it actually appears in IE
    02.jpg shows it after deactivating module “JA News Frontpage” mod_janews_fp

    03.jpg shows it after deactivating module “JA News2” mod_janews2:
    Something happend to the spacing within mod_janews_fp on the right side but the rest appears

    From what i can see the problem is on some article, try removing the “read-more” to see if the problem stops

    Thanks to all!
    Problem ist solved.
    I’m not really sure what exactly it was, but it has to do with E-Mail-Adresses or URLs within the introtext of an article.

    Best regards
    Thomas
