September 12, 2008 at 12:55 pm #270214Hi Nguoiabcd,
We were discussing the same issue of a site that is currently listed in the Member Showcase. I’ll be curious to see the answer since I’m getting ready to start using this template. Here is where the topic is located: [url=http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/balboa-dance-with-pyrite/1 user says Thank You to jwellman for this useful post

I have the same problem, only in home page, with ie7 and ie6.IF I DISABLE THE ACAJOOM MODULE in home page, I CAN USE THIS TEMPLATE WITH IE7 and IE6. If you have acajoom newsletter, try to disable the module in home.
This is not a solution, but ……

Joomla Update patch 1.5.7</blockquote>Hi, I see you have the problem solved on your website newenergyplan.com, how did you do that?
I have the same problem with my site at http://northwoodsfalconry.eu it aborts immediately using it in IE7, though in IE6 works fine as well as in Firefox.
Via Microsoft I found what is causing the problem (http://blogs.msdn.com/ie/archive/2008/04/23/what-happened-to-operation-aborted.aspx) but how can this be applied to Pyrite?
I only have several Virtuemart modules installed, but taking them off doesn’t help either.
Please let me know of any tips

Hi Arjen
My problem was that I was cutting and pasting articles from MS Word directly into my JCE editor. When I looked at the html for the article ( a 450 word article) it had 1200 lines of MS Crap code. . So I now write my article in Word, cut and paste it to Notepad then cut and paste it to my editor. It is an extra step, but it solved my IE issue.
Hope that Helps.New Energy Plan JA_Pyrite

Thanks! That seem to have been the problem here as well. Very pedantic of MS though…
BTW: great website you have (subject/content)
