I’m using this module to display the news and it works perfect, but i have one problem:
I display the displaynews module only on the “news page”: a custom blog layout (category / style) page and set the displayed articles to 0, so only the module (with all the articles) is displayed on that page.
BUT when you then click on an article, you first see the module again and then the content of the full article. This is probably because i’ve enabled the module on the custom blog layout page.
Now i’ve asked this question first on the BK Displaynews forum, there i got this answer:

You should change template a little. Position for module should not be shown if you are in article view mode.

Module position is “slideshow”
The question is, how can I do this ?thuanlq Friendthuanlq

You can resolve your problems without changing template. Please choose “Menu selection” param on module configuration page, only choose the menu items where you want to display your module, and don’t choose menu item of article detail page.
If you can’t resolve your problems, please give me your website information (ftp account , admin user account ), i will check and give you solution.

Well, that doesn’t work…
I select that the module is displayed on only 1 menu-page: “News”. You don’t see the module on all the other pages so that’s fine.
But, this module display news and headlines. When you are on the “News” page and you click on on “Read More” you then see the full article but that article is set to be under the “News” page, and so you see the module again.
I’ve found a way to solve it: change the menu-item-type from “blog category” tot “Jumi”. When i then fill in no code in Joomla you don’t see the module anymore when you click on “read more”… But then, you also don’t see the menu item highlighted, and I would like to have that (with blog category, you have that…)
