Hello,

I’ve had some issues with the layout of my site which I’ve fixed. However there is this one mistery: Last night everything was perfect, today -and without me doing any changes – the site shows a black/grey bar behind the top main menu. Also, the logo and the menus themselves are showing as if they were in the center. Anyone have any ideas?

Hi

in your file template/ja_teline_IV/css/template.css now you have

#ja-mainnav {
background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #878787;
margin-bottom: 10px;
padding: 5px 0;
position: relative;
text-align: center;
}

Change to

#ja-mainnav {
background: none repeat scroll 0 0 transparent;
margin-bottom: 10px;
padding: 5px 0;
position: relative;
text-align: center;
}

Hi, Thanks for the quick response.

I went to template.css but found this.

/* Main Nav ---*/

#ja-mainnav { }

#ja-mainnav .main { border-top: 1px solid #ccc; margin-bottom: 12px; }

I added the code you suggested to the {} bracket:

which in turn did remove the black bar. But the layout still is not right (the logo is in the center, and child menus aswell.)

Since this was very random. Would you be so kind to tell me what happened? Was it something I did? A ghost? :laugh: I want to make sure so that it doesn’t happen again.

I don’t know where your template.css has taken that setting (maybe an old change to the code), anyway i have cleaned your cache and all is back to normal

Please forgive me. I didn’t know I was supposed to change it. And I was about to do just that when i realized that the site is now showing some weird things. On Chrome there’s a large search screen on the top (logo now in the center). And on Firefox the search takes full width of the site. It was perfect a few hours ago. I have not made any changes.

I can provide screenshots upon your request.
