Black bars on YouTube article import with the social stream import. In the plugin image size is set to 480×270 (16:9). What do I need to change to avoid importing images with blackbars. What size is recommended?
Thank you in advance.
Best regards
Remy

Could you share the URL and admin login info of your site? and tell me the Youtube channel you’re importing into your site, I will take a look.

March 1, 2017 at 4:00 am #1014316Hi Remco,
I’m afraid that it depends on your settings in Youtube video as JA Social Feed plugin will retrieve the large thumbnail of video which Youtube provides. You can check the thumbnail by passing the Youtube URL into this: http://www.get-youtube-thumbnail.com/ to see how youtube renders.

March 1, 2017 at 12:55 pm #1014443Thank you for your answer. In a nutshell this is no way of getting rid of the black bars unless I upload custom thumb nails for the videos
That is a shame. But thank you.
Best regards
Remco
