Hi,
When hovering on the menu-item ‘home’ on this webesite in the edge browser, a blanc square appears above it (see attached screenshot). How can I make this square disappear? And/or has it something to do with the purity template?
(Allready tested that th fa-icon has nothing to do with it.)Thanks in advance for helping.
Kind regards,
Liesbeth.

December 6, 2016 at 2:42 am #992441Hi
I saw you have custom work on site , can u disable the custom.css file and check this issue .
Or you can given me temp super user login details so i can debug the problem on your site .
Use Set as private reply to send the site details .Regards
December 6, 2016 at 9:54 am #992535Hi,
Thanks for your quick answer.
At the moment I cannot affort to have the site disrupted or something like that, because it’s very important for my client to have it online and look good.So I have to test it local if custom.css is the issue.
If I give you a super user login I need to be sure that nothing is going to chance. (Just advice what I should change to solve this, so I can test it first localy)

December 6, 2016 at 10:15 am #992546So I have to test it local if custom.css is the issue.
in this case you have to remove the code from custom.css file one by one to check which custom code is creating this issue , and check the front end .
You can try it on your localhost system as u said there is chance for something wrong on live site .Regards
December 6, 2016 at 6:44 pm #992688Hi,
I created an online testsite and completely deleted the custom.css file. Despite this does not solve the issue.
Also I added text to the title attribute, the blanc square has now the text ‘home’ in it and therefor also appears in firefox.
So I think it is an automaticly created tooltip, but I still don’t know how to delete it or make it invisible.
You can find the test site here: http://www.skelp.org/uula2017/index.php
Edit: updating purity to the latest version did not solve the problem; stil a square appearing when hovering ‘home’

December 8, 2016 at 4:04 am #993094Hi I spent a lot of time on this , but i am not able to replicate this problem in fresh quick start and Template package . On your site i create a new menu item and selected the same article in it as set Home menu . And its working fine . kindly check the menu item i created on your test site and replicate the same on your live site .
Also set the menu title to NO will hide this : http://prntscr.com/dgqkssHope it helps
