I am new to this :). I’ve tried to modify the template and now it I get a blank page. If I change the template it loads normally I must have done something wrong.:((

I put the template as default, when trying to modify it I can see the preview but than I get an empty page I think there is a conflict somewhere

Looks like you already fixed this. What did you miss here if I may ask? I have never seen blank page issues that much.
