I installed the Quick Start JA Droid with sample data.

I’m able to login into the administrator side of joomla but when I try to show the front end a blank page appears. I get the same changing the template, too.

Could somebody please give me and help.

    Thank you.

If you change template and get the same then something must have gone wrong with the install. It could be that some files did not upload correctly. Always use a good ftp program and not web based ftp. I recommend the free Filezilla ftp app – http://filezilla-project.org/

Re upload al the files then begin the install again.

I’m working in localhost. The files are copied directly in the folder.

Then it must be a local setup problem. Are you using Xampp or Wamp or a linux box?

Just made an install on my machine using PHP5.3 under Wamp and all is fine. Not really sure what else I can do to help

I’m using Mac OS X with MAMP, I tried both MAMP 1.7.2 and MAMP 1.9.3.

In JoomlArt Extensions Manager/Repository Manager I found some Errors in Components, Modules, Plugins and templates.
    i.e.
    ‘/Applications/MAMP/htdocs/primula.it.2010/jaextmanager_data//component’ in Components
    ‘/Applications/MAMP/htdocs/primula.it.2010/jaextmanager_data//module’ in Modules
    etc…

How can I change these paths?
The problem may be in the double slashes, the error I get is “Path is not a folder or this folder was deleted.”
