Hi,
After the quickstart package installation in the front end I see only a blank page. Back-end it’s working. I never had this issue.
Any solutions?Thanks in advance.

July 19, 2014 at 9:51 am #542883Hi
Seems that you have some wrong php configurations or your server , i cannot verify your settings from Joomla system information, it returns an empty value, btw most probably it is due to the curl library.
I can suggest to try switching your php version from 5.4 to 5.3 from your hosting cpanel and verify how it works

Ok, I did it. I don’t see any changes. What I should do?

The directive allow_url_fopen enabled not always is needed from all templates , so probably you never noticed this since was not needed before

Hi
You should enable the error reporting , btw i enabled it and this is the error
This error is due to the PHP GD libraries missing on your php configuration
This below is a screenshot from a correct installed GD library
You have no GD libraries installed, ask your hosting provider to install it
This is your core php configuration

Hi Pavit,
Sorry, I thought when I enable the debug is the same as enabling the error report, I guess not. Where did you find the error report in the backend?
Also, is this php GD library only for this template? I have other Joomlart template and seem to be fine without it? Do we have to install this or can we disable the module?
Thank you.

GD Library is added to all php installation since it something that helps images managements ( in few words ) so would be better to install it , then depends on how modules are developed , if they uses such libraries or not . btw JA_Content slider is important in Ja Playmag template so it is not suggested to disable it
