I installed the joomla and uploaded the template, made it my default template, yet my page is blank. I had to mess around a little to get some sections on the page.

The page looks nothing like the demo. Please help, thanks Neal

I’m learning this also but let’s try:
Go to article manager and publish some of them at position “ja-news” and at Frontpage.
    That should work.

    Good luck

I have JA Teline II installed on joomla 1.0.15
It does not give me the option of position “ja-news”
How can i create this or otherwise fix the issue.
    Please Help.

Got to site > Template Manager > module positions. enter ‘ja-news’ in the next available blank box.
It will then show up in the module dropdown selection list.

This was explained in the Userguide 😎

Maybe it’s wise to install the Quickstart and work from there.
