    Hi arsaf

There are some problems with php 5.3.6 in MAMP. You can switch to php 5.2.7 as following:
    1. Open MAMP
    2. Click Preferences button
    3. Click PHP tab
    4. Click 5.2.17 in PHP Version section
    5. Click OK button.
    6. Surf your local site and this bug is solved.

I had this same problem in MAMP and MAMP PRO. Switching PHP versions did not resolve it. I was able to access the Admin in every case but not the front end. No warnings in Joomla admin. Only issue that I saw was that Magic Quotes was on by default in MAMP. It should also be noted that under three different MAMP configurations I had no problems with any JA template except Orisite.

After 5 attempts I gave up and ran it on a CentOS server (Magic Quotes off) and had no problems.

I reviewed code of orisite template and sure that it work normally. @Xenocast do you try to install in linux environment and review MAMP configuration?

I too am having trouble installing JA Orisite using MAMP.
    Blank front page after installation.
Admin / backend is OK and accessible.

Also only difference noted was regarding Magic Quotes.

(I normally have no issues with installing the other templates using MAMP)

Has this been resolved as yet??

    Thanks

    Hi
I also tried installing in WAMP on a windows machine – then adding Akeebapack and then repacking up before trying to install on MAMP local server on my main MAC.
I still get a blank front page.
    Other templates have no problems.
    Any idea why the issue?
Anyone else able to install on MAMP?

    Thanks
