December 16, 2010 at 5:23 pm #157534I’m have trouble with any pages other than the front appear with the content section blank. When I select either a menu item (other than home) or an article, I get a blank content page with Firefox. The header, footer, left and right sidebars appear, but the article doesn’t.
When I try with Safari or Google Chrome, the pages and menus appear normally. What’s wrong?

December 16, 2010 at 7:34 pm #367197http://www.ireportghana.com and I have just realised something, I unpublished every article(except 1) and the hot video just disappeared
Update1, I tried to add another article and made if frontpage, but it is not showing and the frontpage is messed up
Update2, Magically the hotvideo re-appeared after I published a 3rd article, but the frontpage articles are only showing in the slideshow and not on the ‘other space’ of position Sr1-l

The «messed up» top part of the page can be easily remedied, I think:
Go to the JA Newsticker module (in the Headlines position) and reduce Title Max Length from 1600(?) to 50 or thereabouts. You’ll find it under Parameters>Content settings.steinar Friendsteinar

I just visited your site in Firefox (on a Mac), and as far as I could see, the test pages appeared as expected. But I noticed several instances of the infamous 30.11.99 Unix time bug. 30 November 1999 is the date given to articles which have never been modified. In the real world you will usually save an article more than once and thus avoid the bug. There are other ways to avoid it as well, as explained in this post.
Sorry for being a bit off topic.

December 16, 2010 at 11:50 pm #367213What is happening with the JA news frontpage, because all the articles on the page are frontpage enabled but only 2 are showing, and I am also going to change the JA News – default module theme from ‘linear’ to default and you will see how everything shifts to the left leaving a space in the ja-news-1 position

You were able to select the article titles and view the full article? My problem is, when using FF, I select the headlines, but no article appears. This just began happening today.

December 17, 2010 at 3:59 am #367242I’ve decided to reinstall Teline IV from scratch, since I can’t find the reason for the problem with Firefox and the majority of my readers using Firefox to view my site. I may have scrambled my database experimenting with Flexicontent and/or K2 as an alternative to the more than two dozen section/category pairs required by the default Joomla 1.5.
Can I substitute either K2 or Flexicontent for the default Joomla 1.5 content system?

I see there are various styles of K2 content themed for Teline IV – which would be best for articles and which would be best for blog posts?
On the same K2 issue, I can’t find a way to list K2 article titles for a mega module slot as can be done with Joomla’s default “latest” module. I know K2 will list archives by month and categories, but I can’t find a way to list K2 article titles per category – I want to list all K2 items in our “About” category as a module.

December 20, 2010 at 7:06 am #367673The module used in menu for latest news is mod_jabulletin. This module now support K2 content; therefore, you just goto the module and switch to use K2 content instead of Joomla content for parameter “Display Articles From”.
