October 6, 2012 at 6:54 pm #181235I am getting blank pages when trying to access JDownloads Category from Main Menu menu item while using JA Mendozite on localhost.
If I switch to Beez2 – Default (site) template, I no longer get the blank pages. Switching back to JA Mendozite results once again in blank pages.
Joomla 2.5
JDownloads 1.9.1 stable 929 (latest)
PHP version 5.3.1
Friendly URLs yes
URL Rewrite yes
Add Suffix to URLs yesI’ll post on the JDownloads Forum if it seems to be needed.
Thanks,

October 8, 2012 at 4:52 am #469381Hi iikozen,
Is there any error in your site when you use our JA Mendozite template? If you use editor like Firebug > check error tag, you could see it.
Regards.

Hi Saguaros,
I’m having the exact same issue with jDownloads & Ja Mendozite. The browser is rendering a blank page with absolutely no HTML in the source code, and firbug gives the following error:
The character encoding of the HTML document was not declared. The document will render with garbled text in some browser configurations if the document contains characters from outside the US-ASCII range. The character encoding of the page must to be declared in the document or in the transfer protocol.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

December 3, 2012 at 2:34 am #474947Hi techmatters,
Are you configuring to enable compress JS in template manager? Pls try to add jdownloads.js file to Optimize Exclude box and let me know what’s going on: http://easycaptures.com/fs/uploaded/737/4980530416.png

Thanks for the response, I have tried both turning off the JS compression; and I have also tried having JS compression on, with ‘jdownloads.js’ in the Exclude box. But both options result in the same blank screen.
The JAT3 cache was clean both times.
