April 18, 2011 at 9:27 am #162905Hi there,
I seem to be getting a frequent but intermittent error. When loading pages it comes up with a blank screen. I can view the source but the screen is blank and when i press refresh the page will then load properly. I have tried on a number of browsers and different computers and this error is coming up on all of them. Just wondering if i can get the help on this issue. Have searched the forum, but cant see any solutions.
The website is http://www.find-the-right-psychic.co.uk
I can send back end details if you need themCheers

April 18, 2011 at 10:22 am #386882Hi,
Are there any specific pages for which you have observed the issue? I checked few menu items randomly but did not see the blank page anywhere..

April 18, 2011 at 11:29 am #386903Mainly the front page I have noticed this on but has happened on other pages too. It is quite sprodaic in the way it happens. Previously i assumed it was just an issue with computer or cookies or something, but have now having overseas staff telling me they have same issue. I have attached a screen shot to give you an idea (though i doubt a picture of a blank screen will be helpful). Perhaps there is some way to trouble shoot?

April 18, 2011 at 12:12 pm #386909I’ve looked at your page a lot of times in a number of browsers but am unable to replicate your problem. Maybe it is something on your machine or have you tried on another?

April 18, 2011 at 1:31 pm #386927Hi there,
No, it has definitely happened on other computers and browsers and also another staff members reported the same issue in a completely different location. Sorry, not to be more helpful. I’m starting to wonder whether it may be some kind of server or database issue.
Cheers

April 18, 2011 at 1:51 pm #386932It could be. If you can get an exact time you see the error then you could check the servers error logs to see if anything is shown up.
Sorry we cannot be more helpfull here, intermittant problems can be a complete nightmare to diagnose expecially when we cannot see the problem. It is almost certaing server related.

May 12, 2011 at 7:51 am #390912Can you try to switch off the SEO/SEF option in the Global Configuration. that could help to solve this problem.
