January 18, 2009 at 9:21 pm #286984Sorry, i didn’t see earlier your post.
I tried to enabled legacy but nothing work better.I found tonight what is wrong. In Pyrite template config, Il i choose a module menu (split, css, moo or dropline), the page stay blank.
I’m still looking about the reason.

January 18, 2009 at 11:41 pm #287013So with the other templates, like beez, purity etc. there is no error, no blank screen. In the last case, as I do not know what you have there exactly, also as it is a local system, you always may get a blank screen when you have a index.html file like in module directories in your root. Same could happen when you upload your site to your own server and there is still the servers index.html file present in the root. So when you’d click on preview in the admin, the site will always load this html file and not the index.php. PHP files are set below html access wise, so any html in a folder will cause the exact behaviour you mention.
I hope it is just like that, otherwise just submit a support ticket!;)

January 19, 2009 at 12:14 am #287016Reygnier, did you click the ‘Install Sample Data’ button when you were installing your site? If you didn’t this would usually result in a blank page with just a ‘Home’ link. Did you install the quickstart package or install just the template over an existing Joomla site?

January 20, 2009 at 8:17 pm #287347Hello,
Thank you for your help.
I tried to erase the index.html file but it’s the same. As soon i try to use a menu type in the pyrite template config, the page is blank.
I just installed a joomla web site with demo database and after i overwrited the files with those on my distant site. After, i modified the configuration.php file and for all other templates, is working fine.
Does the menus in pyrite template use javascript or java ?
Maybe in my easyphp config files, i need to modify some files or install some extensions…I’m looking forward…
Excuse my poor english…
Thanks a lot.
