Hi I’m hoping someone can help me solve my problem as I’m at a loss. To start with I tried installing everything separately onto a new site but then nothing worked. I uninstalled my Joomla site and tried the quickstart instead but have the same problem in that after going through the install process nothing shows up, no frontend or backend. I know the site is up as the main domain is working. Any ideas on what the problem might be?

Could you check the permissions (CHMOD) of /includes and /includes/joomla.php ?

As the user cannot even see the backend there is not much point in getting a logon for that.

What particular template package are you trying to install? Do you have any other Joomla installs on the same server?
