    Hi,

    I’m not sure where I got it wrong, but blockquote is not working in the following code in the description field of JA Slideshow2:

    <blockquote><span class=”open”>T</span>ext, text, text, text<span class=”close”>!</span></blockquote>

    Instead, it is simply ignored.

    Any idea?

    Try without the exclamation mark – it can be mistaken for code sometimes. Hope that helps!

    Unfortunately, it didn’t. Replaced it by a period ‘.’ but got the same result.

    Hmmmmm.

    I haven’t tried it but within the fields in the “stage settings” there is a box for what tags are allowed in the description.

    You could try playing with that to include the tags you want i.e. span etc.

    May or may not work but at least worth a try! Let me know if it works please! 🙂

    The default setting was:

    p,h5,a,h4,h2,ul,li,blockquote

    So, still no change.

    Then I’m sorry, I don’t think I can help you. I tried playing on a slideshow of mine with this code

    {{blockquote}}{{span class="open"}}This is a sample Blockquote. Lorem ipsum dolor .{{/blockquote}}
    and changed the typo.css to use a color:red; to make it viewable on my system but I couldn’t close the “quote”.

    Hope some one else can help you.

    Ciao
