I use the myblog component from azrul.com, it 35 bucks, buit well worth it and the support is great.

using word is a very bad idea, search engines do not like or index word code well. Myblog has a wysiwyg editor, just type in the text and simple formating.

no one should ever be copying and pasting from word into a webpage or site editor, ever, never

well, i never said that i will copy and paste the blog from word to anywhere. Word supports blogging. You can write the entire blog in your word (even supported with some templates) and then press publish and than its written to your internet blog. thats a very nice and comfort way and i want to use this way. the blog provider hat so support Word-Blogging. and so i asked the question whether anybody has some knowledge how that works…

it doesn’t matter if you copy and paste, the source code is still sgml (word code), your fine as long as you understand that some items may not render correctly in the webpage and in a browser. And forget about indexing on the search engines, it may get crawled, but it will not rank. But if you can live with all of that, than go for it.

I did try it out with the online hosted version of office, but it did not meet my needs and was not as simple as they made it out to be. As far as I kinow, you cannot do it from your PC’s copy of word.
