I am trying to find where blog-featured is in back end so I can edit the title text (Yellow). Also is there a way I can expand the box so it will fit all the text in (red)

That is the page header – it is stored into your Home menu item ->Page display Tab

Hi there

Unfortunately that is not possible to obtain because the css managing it is also managing whole module width, so modifying padding will distort also modules layout on home page.
