Kindly check The article images should be inserted via Article options > Images and links options .
It seems your images is inside the article body so it will not comes outside the article content .

Kindly take a full backup of site and update the template and T3 plugin to latest version , As present both are outdated .

Hi hush
I spent a lot of time on your site seems the issue in the DB of test site , all articles are showing images from the resized folder and its same if you use default Joomla template on them , As u said it happen when u did replica of live site . I suggest you to take backup of live site and install it on Fresh DB , or provide step how to replicate this issue .
